About Keystone Spark Academy

We are building connected pathways for people and communities to thrive.

Keystone Spark Academy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit delivering community-hosted learning and caregiver experiences today while building the partnerships, resources, and infrastructure needed for future youth and workforce pathways.

Our mission

Equip people. Strengthen families. Expand opportunity.

Keystone Spark Academy equips children, youth, caregivers, and families, especially those navigating neurodiversity and other barriers, through inclusive learning experiences, practical family resources, and restorative support while developing future workforce and entrepreneurship pathways.

Through community-centered programs and mission-driven innovation, we build skills, strengthen families, and expand access to brighter, more economically resilient futures.

Our vision

We envision communities where every person, regardless of learning style, ability, background, or circumstance, has access to the support, skills, relationships, and opportunities needed to thrive.

Diverse families and caregivers connecting in a welcoming community gathering
Rooted in understanding. Growing toward opportunity.

Our roots still shape everything we build.

Keystone Spark Academy began with a clear truth: too many children learn, communicate, and experience the world differently. Too many families are also expected to navigate that reality without enough support.

We created welcoming, flexible spaces where neurodiverse learners could be celebrated rather than merely accommodated, and where caregivers could find practical guidance and genuine community.

As we listened, another truth emerged. Families do not experience education, well-being, employment, and economic stability as separate issues. Neither should the solutions. Our organization is growing into an interconnected platform that helps people move from support to skill-building, and from skill-building to opportunity.

Meet the founders

Built from lived experience. Led with purpose.

Andrea L. Cesar and Marc A. Cesar founded Keystone Spark Academy from the intersection of family experience, professional skill, and a shared conviction that children and families deserve systems designed to recognize their strengths.

As parents of five children, three of whom are neurodiverse, Andrea and Marc understand how much advocacy, adaptation, learning, and resilience families can be asked to carry. Keystone Spark Academy grew from their desire to help families like theirs access more affirming learning, practical support, restorative community, and meaningful opportunity.

Their vision has expanded beyond individual programs. They are building toward an ecosystem that supports the whole family and, ultimately, a physical school where belonging, flexibility, dignity, and different ways of learning are part of the foundation.

Our long-term intention

A school that embodies what KSA stands for in every way.

We intend to create a physical Keystone Spark Academy school where children and families experience the education, support, dignity, and belonging they deserve.

The vision reaches beyond accessible architecture. It is a learning environment designed from the beginning for different minds, bodies, communication styles, strengths, and support needs. Flexible classrooms, sensory-aware spaces, hands-on studios, caregiver resources, restorative areas, workforce learning, and strong community partnership would exist as one connected experience.

We do not have this facility today. Every hosted program, sponsor, volunteer, donor, facility conversation, and community relationship helps us learn and build toward it responsibly.

Help build the school vision
What guides us

Our values show up in the design of every experience.

Human dignity

We see the person before the label, need, diagnosis, role, or circumstance.

Belonging by design

Inclusion is not an add-on. We build environments flexible enough for people to participate as themselves.

Strengths before deficits

We begin with what is present, possible, and ready to grow.

Whole-family well-being

Children thrive when the people who care for them also have tools, connection, and room to restore.

Practical opportunity

Learning matters most when it opens real doors to confidence, contribution, work, and economic mobility.

Shared value

We create partnerships where mission and marketplace strengthen one another and the community benefits.

Our connected ecosystem

We are building a continuum, one honest step at a time.

Today, Keystone Spark Academy brings education, caregiver support, and restorative experiences into community-hosted spaces. Spark Plugged raises funds for the mission while recognizing participating sponsors. The workforce pathway and future KSA school remain goals that require resources, volunteers, and committed partners.
